Bomb threat clears out Chandler Intel site

PHOENIX -- The grounds at Chandler's Intel site near Dobson and Ocotillo roads were evacuated Wednesday morning after the plant received a bomb threat.

The grounds were cleared of construction workers, but employees inside the building were deemed safe and were allowed to remain indoors.

Chandler Police is investigating and a bomb squad is searching. A police spokesman said the threat indicated an explosive device was in a specific area.

Intel spokesman Jason Bagley said the call came in around 5:30 a.m.
