Hazmat situation cleared northwest of Phoenix
MORRISTOWN, Ariz. -- A seven-mile stretch of U.S. 60 northwest of Phoenix has reopened early Friday after the clearing of a hazardous material incident.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said the road, Grand Avenue between State Route 74 and 203rd Avenue between the small communities of Whittman and Morristown, is open in both directions.
Both are between Phoenix and Wickenburg.
That section of U.S. 60 is part of the main highway route between Phoenix and Las Vegas.
