FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Flagstaff police said DNA evidence indicated that the same man committed two rapes of women who were attacked months apart as they left the downtown bar district at night.

Police said the latest attack took place July 21, the first on Jan. 18.

The Arizona Daily Sun reported that the suspect's DNA profile has been entered into national and statewide databases.

Police said additional officers are patrolling the downtown area in the early morning hours.

Police also are working with Northern Arizona University police to notify students about the crimes.
