PHOENIX -- A 63-year-old Fountain Hills woman is recovering from being hit and restrained after she walked in on a burglary in her home Monday.

The woman told Maricopa County Sheriff's Office deputies the suspect hit her, then tied her to a chair and completed the burglary before he left the house at Shea and Saguaro boulevards.

The woman's son-in-law, a Glendale police officer, found her. She was taken to a Scottsdale hospital.
