SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Authorities say a man apparently fatally shot his estranged wife's boyfriend in Scottsdale and then turned the gun on himself.

Scottsdale police have identified the men as 45-year-old Louis DesCoteas of Scottsdale and 47-year-old Scott Jablonsky of Chandler.

A witness called police about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday to say someone had been shot at the Broadstone Apartments where DesCoteas lived. Police say DesCoteas was found dead in a stairwell.

Officers then responded to a shooting three blocks away where Jablonsky was found dead in the employee break room of a business complex.

Police say Jablonsky and his wife separated recently and DesCoteas allegedly was seeing her.

They say it appears Jablonsky shot DesCoteas outside the apartment complex and then drove to the business where his estranged wife works and shot himself.
