Police: 2 bodies found in Phoenix home

PHOENIX — Police found two people in a Phoenix home that appeared to have died from a murder-suicide.
Police officials said the bodies of a man and woman had been at the location for
several days.
Officers were called to the home about 11 a.m. Friday to conduct a welfare
check on the couple.
Friends said they hadn’t seen the man and woman for several days and couldn’t
contact them.
Police officials said it will be up to the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office to
determine the cause of death.
They said the early indications are it was possible murder-suicide.
The names of the man and woman haven’t been released yet and their relationship
is unclear.
