YUMA, Ariz. -- Federal authorities say they've seized more than 160 pounds of marijuana that had been dropped from an ultralight plane in southwestern Arizona.

U.S. Border Patrol agents say the aircraft was seen crossing the Colorado River west of Yuma on Wednesday.

Agents tracked the ultralight as it flew into Arizona and then turned around and crossed back into Mexico.

They searched the area and reported finding several bundles of marijuana tied to a metal frame in a field.

The 162 pounds of marijuana was turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration officials.
