PHOENIX -- Police are investigating the death of a 35-year-old man at a teenage party in Phoenix.

The man was found dead Tuesday outside a home near 48th Street and Broadway Road. A group of 14- to 17-year-olds were having a party without parental supervision when the man showed up, took an unknown substance and passed out.

Partygoers took the man outside and later when someone went to check on him, he was dead. Police haven't said what the substance was and it's not known whether he had been invited to the party or crashed the gathering.
