SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. -- Authorities in Cochise County say two Sierra Vista-area girls who were reported missing have been found and are OK.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Carol Capas says a 14-year-old and a 5-year-old cousin who live in the same residence apparently went to a church Tuesday evening and ended up staying with family friends.

Search and rescue personnel had searched a wash area after the girls didn't return home after saying they were going outside during a Tuesday evening rainstorm to look for tadpoles.

The search turned up nothing.
