GILA BEND, Ariz. -- Authorities say four men discovered dead in the Arizona desert near Gila Bend died at least three days before their bodies were found.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says two of the men carried Mexican identification while the other two had no ID cards.

The bodies were discovered Thursday morning along Interstate 8 by Border Patrol agents.

Sheriff's deputies say no evidence of foul play was found at the scene. Autopsies on the four bodies will be done in the next few days.

Authorities say one of the men was found a mile away from the others and one naked body was discovered under some desert brush.

It's still unclear if the men were immigrants trying to enter the country without legal permission who didn't survive the desert's brutal heat.
