NOGALES, Ariz. -- Federal authorities say two Mexican men are in custody after drugs and weapons were seized in a stash house bust in southern Arizona.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials say 46-year-old Jose Luis Dominguez de la Rosa and 25-year-old Paul Chavez-Portillo were arrested Wednesday in Rio Rico.

ICE officials say a criminal complaint charges the men with felony possession of marijuana for sale and felony weapons misconduct after nearly 2,500 pounds of marijuana and three firearms were found in the stash house.

Santa Cruz County Sheriff's officials say 57 rounds of ammunition also were seized after authorities acted on a tip.

Dominguez de la Rosa is from Santa Cruz, Sonora and Chavez-Portillo is from Los Mochis, Sinaloa.

Authorities didn't immediately know Friday if either man has a lawyer yet.
