FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Authorities say two elementary school students in Flagstaff have been treated and released from a hospital after the school bus they were riding on collided with an SUV.

Coconino County Sheriff's officials say the accident occurred shortly after noon Monday in Flagstaff.

They say three students were on the bus at the time and one was released to a family member who arrived at the scene.

Authorities say the other two students were taken to a hospital as a precaution.

Sheriff's officials say the bus driver escaped injury and the driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries.

They say the bus was headed to Leupp to bring the students to their homes.

No citations have been issued in the crash, but sheriff's officials say their investigation is continuing.
