PHOENIX -- Authorities have identified a man who was killed in a drive-by shooting in south Phoenix.

Phoenix police said Friday that the victim was 25-year-old Francisco Espinoza-Jauregui.

They said Espinoza-Jauregui was visiting a home just before midnight Wednesday when a car pulled up and someone inside the vehicle opened fire.

When police arrived on scene, they found Espinoza-Jauregui lying in the street and he was declared dead at the scene.

Police said they are still searching for the car that sped off. They have a description of it but no suspect.
