Construction worker injured in fall in suburban Phoenix

PHOENIX — A construction worker in Gilbert is in the hospital in serious condition after he fell about 35 feet while on the job Monday morning.
The man, whose name has not been released, was working at the site of a new charter school near Warner and Recker roads.
A Gilbert Fire Department spokesman said the 32-year-old was taken by helicopter to a Scottsdale hospital.
No other details were immediately available.
