The Phoenix Police Department is searching for a missing elderly man on Saturday morning.

Glenn Edward Martin, 78, was reported missing by his children on Friday. He was last seen in his home Thursday around 5:30 p.m.

Martin is believed to be suffering from cognitive impairment, showing signs similar to dementia and Alzheimer's.

He apparently left on foot and could be in the surrounding areas of Seventh Avenue and Beardsley Road.
