PHOENIX — Six people were critically injured Thursday in a crash in Goodyear, Ariz., a fire official said.
The wreck occurred about 4 p.m. at the intersection of Bullard and Encanto.
“It appears to be a small SUV and a four-door sedan,” said Goodyear Fire Department Battalion Chief Russ Braden.
Two patients were taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital, two to Banner Good Samaritan and two to Maricopa County Hospital.
The ages of the victims are unknown.
As a result of the crash, northbound Bullard and both eastbound and westbound Encanto were closed.
