FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Authorities say an Ash Fork man is in custody for allegedly trying to shoot at least one relative with a shotgun.

Coconino County Sheriff's officials said Wednesday that 51-year-old Timothy McShane was being held on suspicion of attempted homicide and multiple charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

They say he's also facing charges of felony endangerment, making threats, disorderly conduct, criminal damage and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Authorities say three relatives were visiting McShane at his Kaibab Estates home when they got into an argument about 6 p.m. Monday.

The Arizona Daily Sun says as the relatives were trying to drive away, McShane went outside with a shotgun and allegedly fired at the vehicle.

None of the three relatives were injured.
