PHOENIX -- Authorities say a man is dead and two children injured after a shooting in south Phoenix.
Phoenix police two vehicles were driving on a street Tuesday afternoon when shots were fired and the driver of the one of the cars was killed.
Police say the car with the fatally wounded driver crashed through two brick wall fences.
Two children- ages 2 and 5 months- were in the vehicle and were taken to a Phoenix hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Police didn't immediately release the name of the dead man.
They say the driver of the other vehicle fled the scene.
