PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Fire Department responded to a tree fire early Sunday morning outside a residence located at 2919 N. 37th St.

Upon arrival, the first unit found that the fire, which began in the outside oleanders, had extended into the home.

24 firefighters finally controlled the fire, but the process took 45 minutes.

Two firefighters were treated at the scene for minor electric shock from the live wires inside the residence, but no other injuries were reported.
