Freedom tribute tour makes stop in Buckeye

PHOENIX — The Cost of Freedom Tribute has arrived in Buckeye.

“It’s a tribute to everyone who’s sacrificed their lives for our freedom,” said Tammy Noble with the Buckey Main Street Coalition.

The memorial pays tribute to all those fallen military personal who paid the ultimate sacrifice during war and honors the victims of the 9/11 attack.

The display will be open to the public at noon Thursday and is located at the Earl Edgar Recreational Facility located at 500 First St. in Buckeye.

There is a series of events and ceremonies scheduled at the site of the Traveling Wall, including guest Speaker Sarah Palin.
