PHOENIX -- A man believed to be the elusive ``Rock Burglar'' who broke into hundreds of Phoenix-area homes over the years is facing a stiff prison sentence.

The Maricopa County attorney's office says 60-year-old Robert James Neese pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of burglary and one count of possession of burglary tools in the second of two criminal cases brought against him.

He was previously convicted in a separate case of eight counts of burglary and seven counts of theft.

Prosecutors say he faces a maximum sentence of more than 200 years in prison. Sentencing is set for May 21.

Police say DNA evidence linked Neese to some of the Rock Burglar's crimes.

Authorities estimate that in all, the burglar made off with $10 million in jewelry, cash and other loot over the years.
