TUCSON, Ariz. -- University of Arizona police have released the name of a suspect in a stabbing on the Tucson campus.
School police say they're looking for 63-year-old Jose DeJesus Cuevas-Hernandez of Tucson in the case.
Police spokesman Joe Bermudez tells the Arizona Daily Star that they have a description of Cuevas-Hernandez's car and its license plate number.
Bermudez says Cuevas-Hernandez was seen leaving the scene in the car after Wednesday's 7 a.m. stabbing near the Park Student Center and he's been identified as a suspect.
The stabbing victim was taken to a Tucson hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
Police say it's unclear what prompted the stabbing and whether the victim is associated with the university. The man's name and age haven't been released.
