TUCSON, Ariz. -- Authorities say a man has been arrested in Tucson for allegedly trying to lure a minor for sex.

Tucson police said Tuesday that 46-year-old Ismael Delgado also has been booked into the Pima County Jail on suspicion of attempted sexual conduct with a minor.

Police say Delgado allegedly approached an underage girl inside the Martha Cooper Library last Wednesday, asked her personal questions and rubbed her arm.

The girl says Delgado gave her his phone number and she reported the incident to the librarian, her parents and the police.

Detectives from the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit investigated and say Delgado believed the girl was 14 and wanted to meet her at a business for sex.

Delgado was arrested when he arrived at the location expecting to meet the girl.
