Couple in Sun Lakes murder-suicide are identified
CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Authorities have released the names of a couple in a suspected murder-suicide at an adult community near Chandler.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says a man and woman were found dead at a Sun Lakes home on Wednesday.
They say 83-year-old James Radley allegedly shot 66-year-old Luigina Szajda, then his two dogs before turning the gun on himself.
Family members told The Arizona Republic that Radley lived alone in the home and Szajda was a friend.
Deputies were called to the home on reports that a resident was suicidal.
There was no response so deputies crawled into the house through a back window and found two adults as well as two dead dogs.
