Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer was in Texas this week to attend the opening of the George W. Bush Presidential Center.

Brewer attended a dinner with the former president on Wednesday before attending the library's opening on Thursday.

In a Facebook post, Brewer said it was a "great honor" to attend the official opening of the library.

Thank you President George W. Bush for your service to our country and for allowing me to attend today's historic event honoring your presidency.
