APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. -- A search is underway in the Superstition Mountains east of the Phoenix area for a 34-year-old man last seen Monday when he set out for a hike at Lost Dutchman State Park.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office said Christopher Hensley recently moved to Arizona and didn't have much water with him.

"He was not dressed for a long hike," said Tamara Ingersoll with the Pinal County Sheriff's Office. "He only had basketball shorts on and a pair of skate shoes and no shirt."

Ingersoll said the last time anyone heard from Hensley was Monday afternoon when he posted a photo via his cell phone.

"We have not been able to get any signal on that cell phone," she said.

The Sheriff's Office said its search and rescue unit deployed Monday night and that a member suffered a serious leg injury Tuesday night when a 20-pound rock fell on his leg.

Another member sprained an ankle.
