TEMPE, Ariz. -- A 21-year-old Arizona State University student has pleaded not guilty to charges accusing him of causing serious burns to two young women attending a house party in Tempe.
Andrew Kent on Wednesday appeared in Maricopa County Superior Court, where he faced two counts of aggravated assault.
Police said an 18-year-old student and a 17-year-old California girl visiting ASU received serious burns when a liquor bottle exploded after being thrown into a bonfire.
