WinCo grocery chain to build warehouse in Phoenix

An Idaho-based grocer has chosen the Valley for its latest warehouse space.
According to The Phoenix Business Journal, employee-owned discount grocer WinCo, paid $12 million for a lot in west Phoenix, where it will build its new warehouse within the next year.
The facility will bring about 300 jobs to the Valley and will be located at the corner of Buckeye Road and 75th Avenue.
The warehouse is intended to serve WinCo’s three Phoenix area locations, as well as Las Vegas and Southern California.
