Marcos De Niza student arrested for making threats

A student at Marcos De Niza High School was arrested by Tempe Police early Tuesday for making threats to shoot people at the school.
Detectives went to the 16-year-old student’s home after being contacted late Monday that he had made threats on social media about planning a shooting on Tuesday.
The student was believed to be acting alone and there are no other threats associated with him.
The student was charged with Interference with or Disruption of an Educational Institution and booked into jail.
