Harkins Theatres announced Friday it will develop a new site in Queen Creek, Arizona.

According to a release, the new cinema complex, Queen Creek 14, expects to open by late 2014. The Queen Creek Marketplace venue will feature a 14 screen megaplex including all-digital projection and a $6.00 childcare service called Harkins PlayCenter.

"It's exciting to bring the ultimate moviegoing experience to the growing communities of Queen Creek and the San Tan Valley," says Dan Harkins, Owner of Harkins Theatres. "We are thrilled to finally be able to bring the Harkins entertainment experience to our loyal moviegoers in the southeast valley communities."
