GLENDALE, Ariz. -- An airman assigned to Luke Air Force Base in Glendale is dead after a motorcycle crash.

Base officials said 25-year-old Staff Sgt. Matthew Dennison was involved in a three-vehicle accident Sunday on Interstate 10 in Buckeye.

They said he was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, where he was later pronounced dead.

Dennison was from Mechanicsburg, Ill., and was an Aircraft Structural Maintenance Journeyman in the 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron.

Base officials said Dennison entered the Air Force in August 2006 and arrived at Luke in February 2007.
