Crash along I-10 in Arizona causes long delays
PHOENIX — The Arizona Department of Transportation is warning travelers that traffic is backed up for miles along Interstate 10 south of Phoenix due to a serious crash.
The department says the crash, which happened Saturday morning, has limited westbound travel on the interstate to a single lane near Riggs Road. Both directions of I-10 are backed up.
Transportation department spokesman Garin Groff said drivers should consider alternate routes until the crash is cleared. He did not immediately release any details about the crash.
