27 students to compete in Arizona Spelling Bee

PHOENIX — Twenty-seven students are competing in this year's Arizona Spelling Bee.
The competition will be held Saturday afternoon in Phoenix at the Arizona PBS television studio.
The 27 students earned their places in the state competition by winning spelling bees at their schools and at regional and county levels.
The winner of the Arizona Spelling Bee receives an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
