PHOENIX -- Gasoline prices at the pump around Arizona are lower for the second consecutive week.

Officials with Triple-A Arizona said Thursday that the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $3.70 a gallon.

That's a decrease of nearly 3 cents from last week and almost 19 cents lower than this time last year.

This week's national average is $3.69 per gallon, down by almost a penny from last week.

Tucson has the lowest average gasoline price in Arizona at $3.48 a gallon while Scottsdale has the highest at $3.85.

Wyoming has the lowest average gas prices in the continental U.S. at $3.32 a gallon with California having the highest at $4.09 a gallon.
