TUCSON, Ariz. — Authorities have identified the man found in the trunk of a burning car near Tucson, and they confirmed his death was a homicide.

Police Sgt. Chris Widmer said late Friday that the victim was 23-year old Louie Sagala.

No other details about him or the cause of death were immediately released.

On Thursday, firefighters responding to a 911 call about a vehicle fire in the desert found the remains after the fire was put out.

A crowd of people gathered at the scene as authorities responded, and then dispersed as police tried to talk with them.

The vehicle appeared to be a silver two-door passenger vehicle.

Detectives want anyone who noticed anything to call authorities.

    People disappear
People were gathered at scene when police arrived but disappeared when the police started talking to them. And this should surprise no one. People these days are selfish cowards.

    Not People at All
More like Animals or if they are actually people they were brought up to "Enjoy The Show" and not help. I swear the people of today wouldn't piss in your mouth if your throat was on fire! They'll sit and watch but that's about it. What a wonderful world we live in these days.
