Ashley Furniture is expanding its reach in the Phoenix market.

According Phoenix Business Journal, Ashley Furniture will be opening at the Phoenix Metrocenter Mall in April.

The store will be in the same shopping center as Dillard's, Macy's, Sears and over 100 other stores between Peoria and Dunlap Avenue near the I-17.

The furniture store saw a 12.2 percent increase in its net gains last year, making $2.6 billion in sales across 434 stores around the world.

"Ashley brings another strong, growing, national tenant to our roster," said Metrocenter Mall General Manager Brent Meszaros. "They further diversify our retail offerings and like Metrocenter operate by a philosophy that puts customer service, satisfaction and quality as top priorities. These are important characteristics and a welcome part of our future."
