Search crews have found three hikers Monday who had been reported missing in the Superstition Mountains.

The three adults, in their 50s, were found unharmed by Maricopa County Sheriff's Office search-and-rescue team. They had been missing overnight.

Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Brandon Jones said a half-dozen search-and-rescuers and a helicopter were employed.

The group, two men and a woman from Michigan, was supposed to meet family members at a trail head Sunday night but failed to arrive.
