TUCSON, Ariz. A man suspected of trying to create a child pornography website has been arrested in southern Arizona.

Tucson police said Friday that 32-year-old Kurt Quimby was taken into custody after officers executed a search warrant on his apartment.

Authorities reported finding evidence related to the sexual exploitation of a minor and commercial exploitation of a minor.

A web-hosting company became aware that someone had used its services to create a child pornography site in April 2012.

The information was turned over to Tucson police and its Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, which worked with Oro Valley police on the investigation.

Quimby is being held in the Pima County Jail on suspicion of 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of commercial sexual exploitation of a minor.
