Weekend freeway restrictions March 8-10

A majority of drivers in the Valley will not see any restrictions from planned construction, save for one route. However, drivers in the Tucson area will be subject to a major closure.
• Grand Avenue will be down to two lanes in each direction between 71st and 91st avenues from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday for installation of traffic flow detectors.
• Interstate 10 will be closed in both directions east of Tucson from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday for bridge removal.
