I-10 near Tucson to be closed for demolition

Interstate 10 will be closed from March 8 to March 9 for the demolition of the Patano Union Pacific Railroad Bridge near Tucson.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, there will be a 67-mile detour around the I-10 that's between State Route 83 (Exit 281) and SR 90 west (Exit 302) that will add on two hours of additional travel time.
The construction will work both ways and ADOT advised drivers to avoid the segment of the I-10 as best as possible during the closure
