Two San Tan Valley students have been suspended Wednesday after discovery of a "hit list" that contained the names of nine teachers and students.

The girls, one an eighth-grader at Walker Butte School and the other a 10th-grader at Poston Butte High School, had posted the list to Instagram, along with an icon of a gun, said a Pinal County Sheriff's Office spokesman.

The girls, both cheerleaders, told deputies they weren't going to hurt anyone, that the list was meant only to name people they didn't like.

A parent of one of the students on the list had contacted authorities.

The girls could face charges of threatening and intimidating.

    Luke Wilson starred in Idiocracy, where society becomes dumbed down. It looks like we may be at the beginning of this process. 1) writing a hit list on paper. 2) posting it on the internet Biffleford is on to something with social media ruining our young people. For some reason, they tend to act before thinking. @onewonders. What hit list Obama may or may not have is irrelevant to this story.

    It's fact about Obama and his DOJ and it's very relevant to this story. Both involve killing or assassinations of US citizens. Sounds pretty relevant to me but you can deny it all you want. That's what the sheeples are best at, deny and lie for Obama.

    too much political correctness is scaring people to not speak their mind. Benjamin Carson's speech at the national prayer summed it up BEST. Fear the kids with a note. Pay no attention to the government that takes your freedoms away and will incarcerate you to acquire your assets.
