Peoria police find missing boy safe, sound

Authorities have found a missing Peoria boy, close to home, police said.

The 8-year-old reportedly wandered away from his home near 87th and Olive avenues late Tuesday afternoon.

He was found, unharmed, at a store about an hour later.
