A motorcycle rider was hit by a car and killed early Tuesday morning in Chandler.

Chandler Police said one of the drivers ran a red light at the intersection of Germann and Cooper roads, but the investigation hasn't determined who it was.

According to Sgt. Joe Favazzo, the driver of the car, a woman in her 30s, is unlicensed to drive.

The motorcycle driver, who died at the scene, has not been identified.

    More on this
Actually I heard later that she got confused by a flashing yellow turn signal. They are popping up all over and many people do not know what to do with them. She thought it was telling her that the arrow was about to expire (like a yellow traffic light), and she should turn before it did. There needs to be a public service announcement on how these work!
