An Arizona Department of Public Safety officer was injured in a Monday crash near Casa Grande.

The accident happened at the intersection of Pinal Avenue and Hopi Drive about 1:45 p.m. The cause of the accident is under investigation.

The officer was airlifted to St. Joseph's Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

DPS said the unidentified officer suffered a possible concussion.

The other driver, a teenager, was transported to a local hospital. There was no word on his condition.
