PHOENIX -- US Airways said one of its planes on a flight from Las Vegas to Charlotte, N.C., was diverted Monday morning to Phoenix after the crew reported fumes in the cabin.
Airline spokesman Bill McGlashen said mechanics are checking the plane and that there's no indication what caused the reported fumes.
According to McGlashen, paramedics tended to six crew members and one passenger after the Airbus A321 landed at Sky Harbor International Airport. He said he has no indication that anybody was being hospitalized.
McGlashen said the airline is working to put the passengers on other flights so they can continue their journeys.
McGlashen said he doesn't know how many passengers were on the plane, but said the plane can carry 183 passengers plus a crew of six.
