White House opts for sci-fi theme to sequester solution

The debate over how the federal government should have handled the sequester still rages on, but the White House has taken an out-of-this-world stand.
Literally.
On Friday, the White House posted a picture of Obama on Twitter, with the following captions:
• "These cuts aren't the solutions Americans are looking for," a direct play on a famous line from "Star Wars."
• "To deny the facts would be illogical," a direct quote from "Star Trek."
The image was posted after a speech where Obama said he was incapable of using a Jedi mind meld to get Congress to cooperate on the sequester.
There was no word if Obama was considering the nomination of Yoda for Secretary of Galactic Defense.
