An arrest has been made in the case of a Peoria man in his 40s who was found dead in his home early Friday morning.

Police spokeswoman Amanda Jacinto said 39-year-old Steven Gibson's body was discovered by his wife in their garage near 75th Avenue and Thunderbird Road around 2 a.m.

A 16-year-old approached the home while police were investigating and said he was involved in Gibson's murder.

No motive has been established, but police believe the teen acted alone.
