PHOENIX -- All lanes of Interstate 10 near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport have reopened after a big rig rollover snarled traffic for hours.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say several lanes of eastbound I-10 were closed at the Interstate 17 junction near the airport after a semi-truck carrying mulch rolled over at 6 a.m. Thursday.

The accident blocked at least three lanes most of the morning and traffic was reduced to using the shoulder to pass.

DPS says the semi-truck and trailer were on their side and much of the mulch was on the freeway.

The crash was cleaned up and the I-10 lanes reopened by 11 a.m.

Authorities say the cause of the rollover wasn't immediately clear.
