Sen. Jeff Flake released the following statement Tuesday after the Department of Homeland Safety said it would be releasing hundreds of illegal immigrants in the face of budget cuts.

The statement has not been altered in any way.

"With more than $1 trillion in budget deficits, there are many opportunities to rein in federal spending. Releasing hundreds of detainees who have violated the law is most certainly not one of them," said Flake. "This was a deeply misguided move by DHS."

    This is just a cheap way to try to get back at the G.O.P. for doing the right thing!!! Obama got his wish for more taxes in Jan., so why this? We know that the President wants to be "Big Brother" to all of this, and let's wait and see if we are the "NEXT CANADA".

    Obama and Napolitano, the ones who profess the border is more secure than ever, opens the zoo gates and releases criminals onto the streets with "supervision." They can't even supervise the ones they have now, that's why we have more than half a million ICE fugitives because they failed to show at their hearings.

    keep illegal alien criminals in jail, but there seems to be enough money to grant amnesty which will cost far, far, far more than incarcerating criminals.

    When the President continues to show apathy for criminals and disdain for our Constitution, it sends a message that our laws amount to nothing more than words on paper. Refusing to prosecute illegal aliens, reduction in prosecutions of guns crimes, releasing thousands of law breaking illegals, and selling guns to Mexican Drug Lords and murderers are just some of the examples set by this criminal administration.
