TUCSON, Ariz. -- A Tucson man is accused of felony aggravated assault after authorities say he sideswiped a bicyclist leading more than a dozen others on a training ride.

Tucson police say 57-year-old Rodney Kinkade alleged screamed obscenities at the bicyclists before last Friday's incident on the city's southeast side.

Investigators found Kinkade after viewing footage of the vehicle taken by a film crew accompanying the team on its ride.

Witnesses say a vehicle reached the front of the pack, swerved to the right and sideswiped the lead bicyclist- knocking him to the ground and causing other bicyclists to fall as well.

Police say two bicyclists were treated at the scene for injuries.

The Arizona Daily Star says detectives used a photo of the car to track the vehicle to Kinkade's home.
